Nicole Pollack started her career in the early childhood education field directing migrant child development programs in the central valley. Through this experience, she observed the effects of extreme poverty and became dedicated to breaking the dynamics and barriers that kept families in poverty. She witnessed the value that community can play in helping to strengthen families and that education and employment were the primary factors in breaking the cycle of poverty.
Nicole currently serves as the Director for the County of San Mateo Human Services Agency. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and an undergraduate degree in child development.
