Taara Hoffman is Executive Director of Coastside Children’s Programs (CCP) in Half Moon Bay. CCP serves children and families along the San Mateo County Coast through a Preschool, three before/after school programs at the local elementary schools, and full-day summer activities. Ms. Hoffman’s professional background includes two decades in communications, brand development, media relations, product launches and event production. She’s held posts with Literacy Volunteers of America, Wired Magazine, Elektra Records, Alexander/Ogilvy Public Relations, Strata/Philips Productions and Edelman Worldwide.   In her current position, Ms. Hoffman is a member of the Coast Collaborativefor Children, Youth and Families; Thrive – The Alliance of Nonprofits for San Mateo County; Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee; and the Second Harvest Advisory Committee.   Ms. Hoffman believes children deserve respect, unique attention and nurturing so they may reach their highest potential. She is extremely appreciative of the high-quality child care centers and caretakers in San Mateo.
